8th Grade Mousetrap Cars
/The students work alone or with a partner to build a car powered by the spring of a mousetrap applying physics principles of friction, speed and distance learned in the classroom.
JAMS Science Magnet
The Magnet has been in existence since 1992. Started out with 60 students and an idea! We now have ~380 students in the program. We are financially supported by the district as well as by fundraising through the Science Magnet.
